Cassandra Parrish

Cassandra began her journey with the Lucy Brock community full time working with infants and toddlers in 2014. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Cassandra found a passion and true alignment between her image of the child, and the Lucy Brock philosophy, making it crystal clear that Lucy Brock was where she belonged! Throughout her Lucy Brock journey, Cassandra has served as a lead teacher in both the preschool and infant and toddler classrooms. Working with young children and families is most exciting for Cassandra because she is able to observe and support a community like no other, where people of all ages and skills, of all cultures and customs come together to learn, care, and discover! As Cassandra develops as an educator she hopes to one day utilize her background of modern dance and art in the field of expressive art therapy for the young children she works with.
