Dr. Robin Groce

Dr. Robin Groce is an associate professor of literacy education. Her research interests include the implementation of children's and young adult literature with inclusive excellence themes, the integration of social studies and the fine arts in the language arts classroom, using literature as an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving and critical thinking, and university lab school implementation and leadership. 

Dr. Groce is active with the Association for Middle Level Education and received the college's Outstanding Teaching Award in 2022 and the Community of Practice Award in 2019. She enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, riding her bike, creating things, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
