Dr. Angie B. Harris

Dr. Angie Harris is an assistant professor in the Department of Child Development, Literacy, and Special Education. She earned a Ph.D. in special education with a focus in applied behavior analysis and high incidence disabilities from Ohio State University. She also received her masters in early childhood education and Bachelors of Science in early childhood studies from Ohio State University. She taught second and third graders at a school for students with disabilities in Ohio.

Dr. Harris currently teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels to implement evidence-based practices and to support learners with varying needs. Her interests include literacy interventions, executive function, and teacher-training.

She is a member of Orton Gillingham Academy and Council for Exceptional Children.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, reading, and cooking.
