Dr. Larry Kortering is a professor of special education. he received his doctorate in education and administration prepartion program special education from the University of Washington, Master of Science in rehabilitation counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Bachelor of Arts in learning disabilities and social studies from Hope College.
His research focuses on how better to engage students in the process of schooling, including related topics like transition assessment, universal design for learning (UDL), and school completion.
